Magnetic eddy current is a common phenomenon in magnetic pump. when the motor rotates the rotor through external magnetic field, the isolation sleeve is in a sinusoidal alternating magnetic field and induces eddy current on the cross section perpendicular to the magnetic force line, which is converted into heat, which is called eddy current heating. The eddy current heating of the magnetic pump will cause a certain power loss, do not reduce the efficiency, not cooling in time will lead to demagnetization of magnetic steel, sliding bearing fragmentation, cavitation and so on. To reduce and eliminate the magnetic eddy current, we should consider not only its economy, but also its reliability.
The TMF-N series fluoroplastic magnetic pump produced by our company adopts non-metallic fluoroplastic isolation sleeve and PEEK isolation sleeve with pressure resistance up to 3 MPA, which can effectively reduce magnetic eddy current and improve pump efficiency. Because this model is equipped with circulating water cooling system, it can tolerate certain fine particles to a certain extent.
